Placerville Christmas Parade

Brothers, Widders and Orphans all came out to represet James W. Marshall Chapter #49 at this years Placerville Christmas Parade. This was my first time marching as a Clamper and I was fortunate to meet and get to know some new Brothers.

ECV was well represented by more than 30 of our Brothers not only from JWM #49, but also Growlersburg #86 John A. Sutter #1841 and Lord Sholto Douglas #3 to name a few. It was hard to tell who had more fun passing out candy to all the kids lined up to watch along the parade route: the Orphans, the Young Bucs, or the Greybeards. We were well received by the town and made some possitive impressions.

The Liars Bench in Placerville was great place to end the parade. More than a few locals came to our table to tell us what a great group of guys Clampers are, not only in in our territory, but in their own home towns as well.

All in all it was a satisfactory way to spend a day!
